HOW DOES THIS WORK?


IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Our store caters toward crafters school-age and up. We do have a few events where it is appropriate for preschool age but parental supervision is required.

IS THERE A STUDIO FEE?
If you choose to make a project using items we have in the store, no studio fee applies. Everything is priced to include the making! 

If you choose to bring in a project from home and want to use our tools, we charge $5/hr. 

I'M NOT CRAFTY. WILL THERE BE SOMEONE TO HELP ME?
YES! Our employees are helpful, knowledgeable, and available to give basic instructions.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME?
For MAKIT ANYTIME:  NO.

For CLASSES: YES. If you plan on coming to a class last minute, please call or email first to make sure we have space and supplies to accommodate you. 

For PARTIES: YES. Our parties (especially on weekends) are usually booked 3-4 weeks in advance. Please keep that in mind when planning your own party. However, we sometimes have cancellations or open weekends so, ASK!

I'M BRINGING SOME FRIENDS. DO WE ALL NEED TO CHOOSE THE SAME PROJECT?
No! You can each choose whatever project you'd like. One thing you may want to keep in mind, however, is the time it takes to complete the projects. Some can be finished in as little as 30 minutes while some take up to 2 hours. Of course, if you finish early you can always choose something else to make or help your friend finish theirs!

CAN I BRING IN FOOD AND DRINK? WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?
YES! Be respectful of those around you, but you can bring in food and drinks with lids during our open hours, classes and parties. 

ADULTS: You can bring in your own alcohol during private parties only.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
No. We have everything on hand for you to complete any of the projects featured on our website and more. If you have a specific project in mind and have your own items to bring in, you certainly can!

WHAT HAPPENS IF A CLASS IS CANCELLED?
Sometimes we need to cancel our classes due to not meeting minimum attendance requirements, weather conditions, or illness. We will contact all participants and offer a 100% refund for any of these instances. We may suggest moving your registration if we have another class on the schedule but that is entirely up to you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY CLASS?
We try and accommodate if you're unable to attend a class for which you're registered. Our first option is to move you to the next time the class will be offered. If that is not possible, we offer store credit. Full refunds are available if you let us know at least 1 week in advance.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE PARTIES?
YES! We love to party! Check out our party page for more information.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HAVE A PRIVATE PARTY?
Our private parties start at $175. You can check out our party page to find out the cost of our particular parties.

WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?
If LPS is closed due to weather, so are we. We will do our best to reschedule classes and if you are unable to attend the make-up class, a refund will be given.
